Background
Nilfisk-Advance Group is the leading global professional cleaning equipment company.
The company has more than 4,000 employees in 35 countries.
A large part of the company’s success is dependent on its ability to be innovative
and on quality, which is why Nilfisk-Advance wanted a strong and effective tool
to support its entire R&D process.
Challenge
Nilfisk-Advance and Netcompany have in close co-operation established a new R&D
co-operation portal which gives R&D employees control over documents, versions,
security, searches throughout projects, knowledge sharing and, last but not least,
an overview of the project portfolio.
The tools in the portal are very easy to use and via templates it is easy to follow
and document the process so that all work according to common “best practices”.
Solution
The solution is based on Netcompany’s standard software GetOrganized for SharePoint,
a concept for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. The solution went “live”
on June 7, 2007 and the global roll-out is now in full swing.
